National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007)

The Worlds biggest treasure hunt. National Treasure is a 2007 movie from Walt Disney Pictures produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and directed by Jon Turteltaub.

If the 2004 film of National treasure, hunts the thrill I hope this will also get the worlds attention. I can’t depict the feeling I had when I watched the film, it seems one of a kind. I should not miss this one. for more reviews click here.

Lil Wayne (Charismatic Southern rapper)

lilwayne
Lil Wayne began his industry ascendance as one of the Hot Boys, a short-lived Cash Money Records all-star group, and after establishing himself as a successful solo artist, he grew to become a critical favorite, known especially for his entertainting underground mixtapes.

Banal - Metro Manila Film Festival 2007

This one  is just like the typical film that you can see on ABS-CBN TV Block Buster. lol

BANAL explores the heretofore unseen side of police work, stabs at the unscrupulous behavior of the media and shows an uncompromising picture of Philippine society. In today’s day and age, angels can become demons, and sinners can become saints.

Starring Paolo Contis & Alfred Vargas: two policemen with opposite personalities and philosophies - Paolo is the epitome of the rare, near-extinct breed of honest cops; Alfred is the the legman of his district’s high officials, doing their dirty work for a price.

Katas ng Saudi - Metro Manila Film Festival 2007

Yesterday, Jingoy said: "Katas ng Saudi is one of the best entry in this year’s festival" and he added that "He might get the chance to be the Best Actor".The story looks like this, he’s an overseas worker comes home from Saudi and finds that coming home is harder than he thought it would be. He has to reconnect with his children who have all grown without him, and readapt to a lifestyle that includes his family.

Starring Jinggoy Estrada, Lorna Tolentino, Sharon Cuneta, Shaina Magdayao, Ricky Davao, Rayver Cruz, Eugene Domingo, Bayani Agbayani, Liza Lorena, Dick Israel, Arron Villaflor, and Julian Estrada. I cant imagine how awful it will be if Jingoy will take home the award as Best Actor. lol

Shake, Rattle and Roll 9 - Metro Manila Film Festival 2007

Shake, Rattle and Roll 9 features three stories with only one mission to make the viewers scream to their lungs and this Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry is one of the best horror movie in this years festival. Scream, Rattle, Doom. This may serve as a guide to help moviegoers plan their holiday cinema tour.

Close your eyes slowly to see how dark it is. lol

Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo

Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo is a Filipino romantic comedy film. It was produced by Star Cinema, and is the official entry of Star Cinema for the 32nd Metro Manila Film Festival. It stars real-life couple, Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

Last year, it had a total gross of P139.9 million for two weeks, becoming the highest grossing film for the 32nd MMFF. It also the big winner of 32nd Metro Manila Film Festival. But this year it seems that it will bag again the major awards, for it was creatively planned on how the story will affect filipino lives.

My Rate: 4/5. :)

Enteng Kabisote 4: Okay Ka, Fairy Ko (The Beginning of the Legend)

enteng
Still Enteng Kabisote 4: Okay Ka, Fairy Ko (The Beginning of the Legend) is another MMFF entry this year starring Vic Sottoas Enteng and Kristine Hermosa as Faye. Starring Giselle Toengi, Aiza Seguerra, Oyo Sotto, Ian Veneracion, Ian de Leon, Carlos Agassi, Caridad Sanchez, Francine Prieto, Michael de Mesa, Candy Pangilinan, Ruby Rodriguez, Jose Manalo, Cristine Reyes, Arthur Solinap, Renee Summer, Eliza Pineda, Eunice ‘Charming’ Lagusad, Mikylla Ramirez, Shalala, Tita Swarding and Jomari Yllana as Jose Rizal, with another special participation by Joey de Leon as Karima-rimar.

I really don’t like this film, for me, it seems to be so corny and the effects can’t compete with Resiklo. It looks like a never ending story of Enteng Kabisote. Waste of time!

Resiklo

resiklo It is quite funny how filipino try to achieve effects as Hollywood do yet still I’m proud of artist who made this film into reality.

At first as I saw the trailer of Resiklo at ABS-CBN TV as was really amazed by the effects. Let us support RESIKLO Starring Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr., Dingdong Dantes, Jennylyn Mercado, Paolo Contis, Michelle Madrigal, Benjie Paras, Jolo Revilla, Bryan Revilla, Ramgen Revilla, Empress Schuck, Luis Alandy, TJ Trinidad, Mylene Dizon, Bobby Andrews and Roi Vinson.

Director of Encantadia and Atlantika, MARK A. REYES, dgpi.
